I have seen people who had great grades but weren’t able to get through the written round because they weren’t serious. So yes, revise your concepts well, before the beginning of placement season, and then take it as “one company at a time”.

If you want to aim for consultancies or business profile companies, you should be strong in reasoning and quantitative aptitude. Plus, you need to have a knowledge of what's happening around you. It might be politics, economics, tourism, etc. Everything. In addition to that, you should be aware of things like guess-approximation, optimization and most importantly, the company profile.

For mass companies, just make sure you revise the C programming concepts. And be confident in your own skin. It won’t be too difficult, but it won’t be too easy either.
