Hi student,

To pursue Software Engineering, the preference should be given to Science and that also to Science-Maths(PCM) as you will get to learn Maths there, that would be beneficial and would be applied in your software engineering degree and job also. You can also go with commerce with maths but the maths that you will learn there will have nothing to do with software engineering.
