Nowadays all the counselling is an online process.

So for all India counselling you have to register and then they will give dates for option entry and based on your preference and neet rank a college will be allotted to you in first second or mop up round of counselling. After the seat has been allocated you have to pay online and report to the college.

For state counselling the procedure is similar except after registration online you have to go and get your documents verified at the office where the counselling is done (eg:kea in Karnataka) . After this option entry and the rounds of counselling are online. Finally, you have to go and pay for your seat or you can pay online depending on the state. Then you have to report to the college.
