Latest: Allied and Health Sciences- Best Courses, Colleges & Career Options
New: Paramedical Universities Accepting Applications | Emversity Allied Health Sciences Programs
Hi Soumya,
I would like to give you some facts and figures.
Last year i.e in 2018 the number of students who had appeared neet was around 13.27lakhs.
The cutoff percentile were as follows:
UR:50Th percentile
Reserved categories:40th percentile.
According to this cutoff percentile the minimum qualifying marks were as follows:
UR-119
Reserved categories-96
Pwd-107
Now,its a fact that the cutoff varies every year depending on several factors like no of candidates appearing the exam, difficulty level of questions etc.
So now if we look at 2019,
This year the number of candidates appearing the exam saw a rise of 14.44% as compared to last year. This year around 15.16lakhs candidates appeared fr the exam.
Although cutoff percentile might be same as last year however the actual qualifying marks will definitely vary depending upon the top neet score.
As of now NTA hasn't officially produced the qualifying marks however acc to various institutes the qualifying marks can range from:
Sri Chaitanya-538
Career point-455-465
Resonance-565-570.
However these are just assumptions. For actual cutoffs you need to wait for NTA to declare the results.
All the best
