So after qualyfing GATE any candidate has 3 options 1. PSU 2. Higher Studies 3. JRF ( Junior Research fellow )
With your score getting into PSU is not possible.
Higher studies
Ok you will not get into IITs or NITs. What you can expect is admission into any state run college or private university. Through GATE many colleges offer admission for M. Tech . And also since you are GATE qualified AICTE will provide you scholarship for 2 years. You will be given stipend of 12400/- per month for the period of 2 years.
JRF ( Junior Rerearch fellow )
Many IITs and IISc hire GATE qualified students as Project Assistant. You will be handed over a project which you will have to complete in stipulated time. You will be paid 25K per month.
