For preparing gk you should be have updates for global issues national issues have a knowledge of medical and biological institutions and their programs and go through news daily to keep yourself updated to all events.

General knowledge, as it suggests includes a wide variety of topics but for Aiims MBBS there is prescribed syllabus and you can prepare accordingly to it. Be up-to-date in current events of national importance, have an idea about logos of various national organisations, it's a vast area.
