You must pay about 18,000 for admittance to government institutions like UVCE and government-sponsored programmes like electronics and communication in BMS. There are some limitations for students from other states who want to take this exam, such as the need that they have studied in Karnataka for at least 8 years or that their parents have studied there. Only private colleges on the ComedK list are eligible for admission; ComedK is handled by private college groups. Through comedK, other state students can have better admission to private colleges. Other state students have access to better possibilities, and the requirements are less onerous than those for the Kcet. The cost of attending a college in ComedK is a significant barrier. The Kcet fees are practically quadrupled by this.
