It depends upon what degree you are choosing.

• Like for Mtech or MS you need to write GATE exam and score eligible marks for counselling and further procedures.
• And for MBA ,  you need to write CAT and finally there will be a personal interview round in which you need to be selected.
• For MCA ,  you need to write MCA common entrance test
• For MSc programs you need to pass the entrance exam by the institution
• For Ph.D programs you have a seperate written test for the eligibilty test

Hence it totally depends on what course you opt.

Candidates need to have secured a minimum75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks inclass XII or equivalent exam.

You need to score above 240 marks in jee mains to get NIT Trichy with your desired branch as it is amognst the topmost NITs and placement records are very high.You need to concentrate more for your jee mains preparation to get this college.

Eligible criteria :
For M.Tech Passed bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or BE / B.Tech and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates.
