Hon'ble Supreme Court give the next date of hearing on case of CMC vellore 10 January 2018.

Nothing Much can be said in this regard at present. In next hearing too, SC might give ots verdict or just give another date.

I would like ot suggest you to focus on your preparation of NEET so that a good marks can be scored which would be quite enough for you to grab a well reputed medical college og your choice. And if your only college of choice is CMC, Vellore... then ... Hope for the Best and Prepare for the Worst.

Hi Angel! Admissions into CMC Vellore for MBBS 2017 is at a standstill for now because the matter is pending in the Supreme Court. The gist of the matter is as follows: - The CMC board of admissions is NOT against NEET, they don't mind replacing State Board marks with NEET scores, but they also want to retain their other criteria for admissions, which include their interview process, group discussions, etc. - The college has been allegedly accused of non-transparency with admission process, which the college has denied As of now, the course at CMC will continue with the current status: the only admitted student, nominated by the Government under the Defence Quota. The admission process for this year and forthcoming years will proceed as per the verdict of the Supreme Court. Hope this answers your question Arika (CR @ Careers360)

Admission in cmc vellore down by NEET there no separate exam conduct by its own or any other authority expect CBSE

Hi Angel, CMC vellore entrance for MBBS is merged with NEET UG in 2017...and mostly it will be the same for next year too......But currently the matter is subjudiciary under Supreme court for the admission process...As only 1 seat of MBBS is filled out of 100 seats due to some procedural difference between government and cmc vellore administration.....So you have to give NEET UG as of now and then apply for counseling if called/your name is in the list Hopefully it helps Dr. Parmanand Agarwal MBBS, MD Career Counselor
