Anyway. 

To get admission in JNU, you must, first of all, appear in the Entrance examination conducted by JNU every year. Based on your performance in the entrance examination, you will be selected for admission in JNU for the course you have applied for.

The JNU eligibility criteria include academic qualification i.e., subject and qualifying marks required for admission into a programme offered in the central university. The entrance examination for the 2019 monsoon session will be carried out in the month of May 2019 and from now on will be administered by National Testing Agency. If you are purposing on applying for the admission to any of the program you will be needed to fill up the Application Form and submit it before the due date, only then you will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. The entrance examination for admissions into M.Phil/Ph.D. and B.A 2nd year programs will be succeeded by an Interview of the shortlisted candidates in the written examination. Kindly keep visiting the website on a regular basis so that you do miss any of the important dates or crucial updates.

Now, moving on to the paper pattern and syllabus of the entrance test.

There is no fixed syllabus for the JNU Entrance Exam. However, the questions asked in the entrance are usually from the last studied degree program. For example in the entrance exam of M.A. in Geography the questions asked are of nature which a student who has studied Geography in his graduation can answer easily. 

The same pattern is followed for other courses and for other entrance exams of JNU. If needed you can also download the previous year papers from JNU website - http://www.jnu.ac.in/

Here I have listed below the syllabus of various courses offered by JNUEE exam -

MCA - General aptitude, reasoning and 10+2 and Bachelor’s level mathematics and Computer Science.

M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology - General aptitude, reasoning, and Bachelor’s/Master’s level Mathematics and Computer Science.

M.Tech in Statistical Computing - The part A will comprise of General aptitude, reasoning, and Bachelor’s/Master’s level mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. Part B will contain topics from data science/data communication stream.

MA in Economics - It will contain topics like Microeconomics, Descriptive Statistics, Problems of Economic History, Underdevelopment and Growth, e

MSc. in Life Sciences - No specific syllabus designed. Students can follow the UGC approved syllabus in their respective subjects for guidance.

BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages - It will contain questions from general knowledge, artificial language, short essays on issues related to the subject.

Basically, the whole procedure and syllabus depend upon the subject or course you are opting for.
