Usually, for cardiac technologist(bsc. in cardio technology) generally there is no purpose of using stethoscope. Since, they deal with a tube which is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carry blood into the heart. May be in practical session you can use. But in some college they don not allow Bsc. students to use stethoscope. It totally depends and varies from college to college. And, no college gives you a stethoscope as well even after graduation.
