Chitkara University is at much better rank as compared to GNIOT. GNIOT group of institutions is a good college but the major here is for Management courses.

Coming to chitkara university, it is one of the good universities in which you can pursue engineering. Since it is a private university so it is bit expensive. The fees around here is 82k per semester and if you have hostel fees then the 4 years of btech will cost you approx 12 lakhs.

If you get a government college then go that if not then  chitkara university is a good option.

Avarage package of this college for Btech placement is approximately 7 lalhs and the highest one is 40 LPA.
