IIT JAM Exam is conducted for students who want to pursue their MSc degree from  IITs or IISc. The admission procedure for IIT JAM has  three rounds of counselling.In the first round of counselling candidates having top ranks are allotted to top colleges.After the completion of first round of counselling second and third rounds are conducted.

The cut off ranks for IIT JAM slightly varies every year.The closing cut off ranks after the third round of counselling  for IIT JAM 2019 in Mathematics (general category)  are given below:

IIT Indore (MSc)                                    : 259

IIT Bhubaneswar (Joint  MSc - PhD)  :  293

IIT Gandhinagar (MSc)                        : 242

IIT Hyderabad (MSc)                           : 223

IIT Ropar (MSc)                                    :  326

IIT Jodhpur (MSc)                                : 356

IIT Patna (MSc)                                    : 387
