As you haven't studied maths during 11 and 12th ,and you wanted to opt B.tech biotechnology, most of the institutes/ colleges will give offer for only those students who had maths in their 11 th and 12th stream .But still there are colleges which will offer B.tech Biotechnology for PCB students.

The main difference is Maths subject.

So in B.tech biotechnology you will have to learn maths subject  .if your interested and can perform well in maths though you dint had studied it during your 11th and 12th ,you can go for it

Buy according to my opinion a PCB student can opt B.Sc Biotechnology as there will be no involvement of maths as a subject(only if your not interested in maths)

If you study  m.sc biotechnology after  b.sc biotechnology, then will have more scope and job opportunities(B.sc +M.sc)

If we talk about Job prespective then you can opt B.tech biotechnology as it's a part of engineering you will have lot of scope

If you only do B.sc biotechnology you may not have much scope but If u add M.sc to it then you will have lot of opportunities.

As you are a PCB student, you must figure it out whether if your interested in maths or not .
