You can do M.Tech with any specialization from any reputed colleges(Like IITs/NITs/BITS/VIT etc) by getting decent rank in the GATE Exam.

You can bring placement from the college campus or from off campus.

If you are interested is the Civil Services then you can give UPSC.

If you want to pursue MBA then you can definitely do so by clearing CAT exam.

if you are planning to settle at abroad then you can do it by clearing GRE exam.
