Having a year gap is not an issue when seeking admission to DU. The documents you need to show during the admission process when it comes to a merit-based course include your 10th and 12th certificates, category certificate (is you from a reserved category). On the other hand if you have applied for an entrance based programme along with the above mentioned certificates you need to produce your entrance test admit card and score card.
