Hey candidate,

NEET is the only entrance exam made compulsory for admission into MBBS .

It is India's only admission exam for students interested in studying MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) following their 12th grade.

  • What is the structure of the NEET exam?

Throughout total, 180 questions are asked in the exam. Each question is a multiple choice question (MCQ) with four answers to pick from. Chemistry has 45 questions, physics has 45 questions, and biology has 90 questions. As a result, biology has a maximum weightage of 360 points, while chemistry and physics each have a weightage of 180 points.

A correctly answered response will get you 4 marks.
A wrongly answered response will get you -1 mark.
No response will not fetch you any marks.
Hence, the exam is of 720 marks totally.
Maximum marks that can be scored = 720.

Hope this will helps you!

Hello,

NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to all Medical, dental and Ayush courses in India and in Abroad. Admission to AIMS and JIPMER colleges will also be done on the basis of Neet Examination. Until any changes are made, for Medical colleges throughout India will offer admission on the basis of Neet score. However, you have not mentioned the name of the college, but currently, all medical colleges of India are accepting Neet score.
