To get into the VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) ,Vellore the entrance exam you have to appear is VITEEE 2020. The exam is the University level exam and it is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology for admission in B.Tech across for all its campuses at Vellore and Chennai as well as the universities in Amravati and Bhopal. The entrance examination will be conducted in online mode.

Eligibility criteria

1. Age limit :- Should have been born on or after 1 july 1998

2. The candidates should be Resident/Non-Resident Indian National. PIO(person of Indian origin) and OCI (overseas cityzenship of India) holders will also be eligible for VITEEE 2020 examination.

3. Academic Qualifications – It is essential for the candidates to have completed or to be appearing in 2020 in any of the following examinations:

1. 10+2 of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi).
2. Intermediate or Two year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
3. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
4. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
5. NIOS candidates will also be eligible for VITEEE 2020.

4.  Candidates should have secured at least an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam (50% for reserved categories).

The Vit Vellore Conducts a Viteee exam You have to pass that exam to get some in this college .There are various scholarships for student who acheive good rank in entrance exam .There is full tution fee wavier scheme for students who are toppers of their respective boards.
