Most of the Indian Institute of Technologies provide sharing seat to first years students, and provide single seater from 3rd or 4th years. However having said that, there are some exception to this. Some of the IITs that provide single seater to first year students are as follows:

IIT Jodhpur
IIT Indore
IIT Bhilai (Permanent Campus)
