Since both are the top class private universities.

If you see according to ranking wise VIT > Bharti Vidhyapeeth
If you see Mechanical department wise VIT = Bharti Vidhyapeeth.
If you compare the placement in Mechanical branch wise VIT = Bharti Vidhyapeeth.
If you compare among quality wise VIT > Bharti Vidhyapeeth.

Overall you should go with the Mechanical department of VIT in comparison with Bharti Vidhyapeeth.
