B.Pharma is considered better by a large number of students but i think it completely depends on the interest of the students  .There can be following reasons behind it like:

1.You can pursue M.Pharma/MBA and get good placements.

2.If your love is chemistry you must go for B.Pharma.

3.Large number of job opportunities like from marketing to manufacturing.

4.Even you can study biotech in higher education.

Biotechnology offers you job in  agricultural, industrial and medical field.You will study much more science and technology related to physics ,biology.

Before joining go through syllabus and subject in both the course and then decide which you can do well.
