Let's clear the difference between B Pharm and Pharma D .

As both these courses are available in pharmacy, it's quite hard to choose the one that suits you best.

Pharm D stands for Doctor of Pharmacy and is post graduate degree program. The course is of 6 years including 1 year internship. And all the successful graduates get the Doctor's title. The course includes basic concepts of pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, healthcare studies, pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical care.

B Pharm stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy and is undergraduate level's bachelor degree course. The course duration is of 4 years. Qualified candidates get Bachelor's degree. The course includes studying drug manufacturing, research, quality control and general pharmacy.

Now, see why Pharma D is better than B Pharm

1. Pharma D graduates can get work in hospitals, clinical research, organizations and pharmacy colleges.

2. Pharma D graduates can become a pharmacist, heathcare professional, consultant, research professional or clinical scientist.

3. After B Pharm, you can only work in medical shops, colleges, etc.

Important Point -

Many students pursue Pharma D course after completing thier B Pharm course.
