Selecting between science or commerce filed is decision solely based on your interest. If you want to make a career in accounting or financial side or management you have option of doing bcom then ca/cs/cma or mba. If you want to make career in engineering side you can take science do 10+2 then BE and then masters in India or foreign. You can also pursue mba after engineering.

So best thing to do is selecting first profession you may like to work in and then taking decision.
