The course "cardiac care technology" is good. nonetheless, cardiac perfusion technology is superior. As a perfusionist, you are in charge and free to act however you see fit. In cardiac care, you are required to work under doctors and are not allowed to make your own judgments. The surgeon, the perfusionist, and the anaesthetist are the three main pillars during a cardiac surgery; they must coordinate as a team to work together. For example, you may determine which medicines you want to give, how much volume you want to prime, what sort of cardioplegia you want to prepare, what measures you can take up to enhance the post operational results, etc.
