In general IITs and NITs are premium institute in India for technical education. So it does not make much difference in which branch you study. However, compared to the newly established branches ,the old ones might be better for a rich learning experience and reputation. Moreover, the professors there will only guide you , it you who will have to put in all your hard work and effort if you want to be outstanding.But since you have asked specifically , for CSE NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, ,MNNIT Allahabad and  NIT Suratkal are good.They are known to provide slightly better overall learning experience and of course the placements are good too. But CSE by itself ,is branch that is very high on demand, even in average engineering colleges the placements are usually better for CS compared to most other branches , so you can imagine the demand if you are an NITian. Therefore you may keep theses 3 as your first set of preferences while seeking admission. You may explore more about the department and placements records in their respective official websites.
