Hey,

Both these fields may have some common sets, but the actual job may differ from each other. In Nursing, it is required generally to take care of patients whereas MLT Technician are bound to do various tests prescribed by the clinics/doctors.

Medical Lab Technology includes a varied number of job positions such as MRI Technician, Orthopaedic Technician etc. depending upon the specialization. After completing a B.Sc Nursing programme, you will be able to pursue a variety of career options. B.Sc Nursing graduates can begin their careers as a nurse in a private or government hospital, or as a tutor in a school.

Both these fields are full of opportunities. MLT is more towards technology field whereas Nursing is towards taking care of patients and required compassion, patience etc. Nursing and MLT holds a lot more scope.

Both these courses are best in itself and you can pursue any of the course depending upon your area of interest and what you want to become.
