Well, Academics of CSE , IT are nearly same and placement opportunities are equal in both so I would suggest you to join Top 5th College with IT, and CSE AI and ML are only helpful if you have decided to pursue Data Scientist of ML and AI otherwise in CSE you will get opportunity to explore and pursue any stream you want...

And also if you have interest in Android Development and Game Development then also you will get a better opportunity in IT too... As the Academics of any specialization like Al and ML or Iot or Data Science etc has similar academics to the CSE but they have to study a particular specialized thing while in CSE or IT who can pursue AI and ML, or Iot or Data Science or crytography or Network Analyst or anything you wish....
