Which specialization has more maths and algorithms is it AI and ML or data science in cse
All these three fields are interconnected with each other and therefore, we cannot just decide which single field will be better for everyone. Therefore, it is important to understand what each consists of and then consequently make a decision on the basis of your skills and interests between the three.
An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc . B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.
1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft in 2020. DURING PANDEMIC THE PLACEMENT 2020–2021 Cloud ERA has offered 31 Lakh Per annum (CSE) DURING 2019–2020 CODE NATION = 31 LPA
In industry, programming, data wrangling and domain knowledge, applied in a math/stats context - you need to know what you are doing and how to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently, using relevant data. For industry, data science is a means to achieve a business objective (i.e. some variation of increase or keep revenue, improve cost efficiency, reduce risks). Essentially you need to know enough math to make informed decisions about which methods and algorithms to use and why.
So, yes Mathematical knowledge is necessary in both, you need to have good number crunching, data analytical abilities to study both of them
Yes, if we see Data Science, it has a lot of statistical work.
Most importantly, you need to pursue the program in a reputed institution like LPU, where the teaching pedagogy used is of experiential learning, which makes it easier for you to understand the concepts.
Hope this helps
Hello
Vrushankrao1
, I am also a student of Computer science in 3rd year and from my knowledge and understanding maths is used in both but the algorithms are more use in AI and ML. But data science is all about the statistical techniques.
So, both specialization needed maths but if we talk about more maths and algorithms then AI and ML has more use.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
