Faculty : The faculty of Maitreyi college especially zoology, botany and chemistry department is well qualified and highly experienced. Professors are bit strict about their lectures and attendance.

Overall the quality of academics and exposure is great.

Along with the academics, you will receive ample of opportunities that will enhance your experience and skills.

Maitreyi college is located at Chanakyapuri, where you will find embassies. The college has a really beautiful infrastructure.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Life Science is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi. I will recommend you to join Maitreyi college over  Zakir Husain as the previous is better in terms of faculty,  infrastructure and placement. The average placement for BSC life science at Maitreyi College is 4 lakhs. However, that of Zakir Hussain is 2 lakhs. Also Maitreyi college has lower fees. However, Maitreyi is a women's college so if you are looking for a co-ed college then you should go for Zakir Hussain.

Maitreyi College NewDelhi is a good option for B.Sc Life Sciences as compared to Zakir Hussain College.The college has good infrastructural facilities -library, cafeteria, hospital facilities. The college has hostel facilities for girls.But it lacks boys hostel.The median package offered for B.Sc programmes is 4.08lakhs.The college also have got 35 NIRF Ranking.
