IIT Tirupati is an Indian Institute of Technology which is one of the premium Institute for Engineering of India but IIT tirupati is the youngest IIT whereas National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal is old NIT it has more experienced faculty and even good placement. If you are getting your favourite branch in NIT Warangal you must take it if you don't have option of IIT.

NIT Warangal is a very prestigious NIT and is indeed a better option than IIT Tirupati.

• Departments and faculties
• Student and alumni base
• Placement statistics

NIT warangal is much better while IIT Tirupati is still very new and needs more time to achieve that status.

IITs are most of the times better than NITs. But in this case Mechanical from NIT Warangal is better than Mechanical from IIT Thirupathi.
