PGDM degree is equivalent to MBA when pursued from reputed university.

There's  not much difference  between  MBA and PGDM , the only thing is that MBA is a degree course while  PGDM is a diploma course , also when it comes to job then there's no difference in the way companies  treat a PGDM and an MBA , even your Career growth is similar for both the courses and it  largely depends upon your performance.

You should consider the previous year placement record of the college ,industry exposure provided by the college  etc because your starting package and placement  after completion of the course is mainly dependent on college’s name and brand, not whether it offers MBA or PGDM.
