Hello,
MBA, short for Master of Business Administration, is a Post Graduate Degree in Management. ... PGDM is a course offered by colleges that are not affiliated with recognized universities or are not authorized to offer degrees. And therefore they offer Diploma courses which in a broader view come at the same level as an MBA.

However, the final selection may be based on a higher cut-off percentage depending on the total number of applicants for the program.
MBA is a Master’s degree and only recognized universities or colleges affiliated with such universities are allowed to offer a degree in Business Administration. Such universities follow one single curriculum designed for the course and offer other major degrees like bachelor and Doctorate.

Hi Dear,
Hope you are doing great,
well..According to your question, its totally depends upon your interest but both are almost equal...But i would like to suggest you to choose MBA...Because there are so many advantages and scope for MBA.. and so many specializations are there in MBA ...and i would like to suggest one top best college for MBA...and that is IIBS..
IIBS has one of the best placement records in the country. As the institute has a separate division to look after placement needs, most of the students get placed with good offers in reputed companies. Almost all specializations get fair share of placement.
The IIBS campus and its environment are not just confined to academics, but motivate any student to the management path. A student is given all the right opportunities to develop as a management professional with guest lectures, corporate events, Industrial visits, interaction with the alumni & Corporate. I arrived at IIBS with dreams, which I thought is difficult to achieve, now with the support, and guidance of the faculty I am confident that I can.

ALL THE BEST!!!
Pursuing management degree is what students know when they are in the final years of their graduation. But as they come closer to the completion and admission in the professional course, the confusion starts growing. With different entrance exams, B-schools, specializations, there is another huge confusion, which is what to choose between MBA and PGDM. The confusion increases further as most of the colleges offer both MBA and PGDM programmes. Students find it difficult to decide what to opt for and go with the choice offered by the college.
For many students, it is same, due to which they forget to pay attention to it. They just prepare for the entrance exams and end up making a wrong choice. So to ensure that you choose the right option from MBA or PGDM, you should first understand about the both.
MBA:
Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree programme offered by B-schools affiliated to different universities. Only the affiliate colleges or universities has the right to offer MBA courses.
PGDM:
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course that any educational institute recognized by he All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) can offer. PGDM from a recognized college is equivalent to an MBA degree if the institute has accreditation by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Now you know about the both, hope it will be easy for you to make the right choice. And I would suggest, you go with your own choice as when it comes to the choice of people, MBA and PGDM is a hot topic of debate among academicians and educational consultants. They will just increase your confusion rather that providing you any solution.
Though most of the colleges offer both MBA and PGDM, not all provide the quality education. Based on your choice of course, you should go for a college that is popular for that specific course. For instance, IIM Ahmedabad, IMT Ghaziabad, SP Jain and Lexicon MILE (http://lexiconmile.com/) , Pune are some of the top PGDM colleges while for MBA, FMS Delhi, Narsee Monjee, Symbiosis Pune, and JBIMS are the right options.
hey,
some pgdm course offers by reputed institute is equivalent to MBA. now it is depends on colleges and placement offers by those respective college. it also depends on you which course you can pursue and what about time you may invest for your studies. some pgdm courses are distance learning or part time base. always go for those colleges which has good placement opportunity. hope you may understand.
