According to my opinion , B.Tech is better option for career.As with the course improves our skill and knowledge.The main difference between polytechnic and b.tech is polytechnic is a diploma  course where as b.tech is a degree course.If you want to join in software sector then b.tech is the good option.You can get job oppurtunities after the completion of polytechnic ,but the salaries will be less and also job oppurtunities will be less comparing with the b.tech.In polytechnic you can have more knowledge in the core subjects like civil and mechanical,then you can easily get through b.tech because of the technical knowledge.
