Hello,

The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is an exam conducted by the UPSC to join The Tri-service (Army, Navy and Air Force) in India. The NDA examination takes place twice a year, in the month of april and in september.

On the other hand The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) are some premier Engineering colleges in India well known for the quality education provided, Experienced faculties and high placement offers.

So if you join an IIT after qualifying the entrance exam, then to get a really good placement offer you need to work really hard, but the advantage is that you can choose the company/job profile that you would like to make you career in. On the other hand NDA helps you to get into the the Tri-Service, earning you respect and job security.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck
