CV Raman college of engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in odisha. It is best in CSE and electrical branches .It is the best college in bhubansewar.



Infrastructure- The campus is vast ,widespread and green.there are many lawns.eachdepartment has it's separate building.classroom and labs Infrastucture is good and highly equipped with state of the art equipments. ItHostels- many new hostels- have come up.There is separate hostel for girls.Many students get single rooms in 1st year.mess food is not bad but adjustible.students from bihar,jharkhand,chattisgarh mostly study.Academics- the primary focus of the college is academics.The whole year good quality teaching takes place. Yes! Teaching is really good. , especially in CSE,special training is provided to everyone.Exams- exams are very strict.The attendance rule is very strict.You get debarred from any exam if you don't have 75%attendance.Internal -1 is online,internal-2 is of 60 marks written,and semester is of 100 marks.checking is also strict.Placements- The pre placement training and other SSEPL training provided helps getting well placed.If you are from CSE then you will definitely be placed(unless you have severe backlogs) in around packages of 56 lacs.Other branch students will get around 3.25 lacs .The highest package goes around 10 lacs that too from CSE.Overall CV Raman College Of engineering ensures that you study everytime.They have a CDAC which is not there anywhere else in odisha.The CDAC certificate ensures that you get good placements.The CDAC teachers are from outside give good training.The training and discipline which CV Raman provides is the best part of the college.these make sure your career goes in a good .CV raman provides ample opportunities to the students.The students will get success in the long run provided if they utilise all opportunities. **If you study regularly, attend classes ,then you will surely enjoy your btech 4 years life in cvraman.

GITA is better than C V Raman in terms of all the things, not only if placement is concerned. It is because being Colleges at almost same geographical location, both having almost same accreditations, they house the same companies for recruitment. So those who say top software companies only visit C V Raman not in GITA are either the staffs of C V Raman or they are some kind of marketing agents. But for me fee structure is also an essential criteria. And GITA fee structure is quite low than that of C V Raman. Also C V Raman has lots of tantrums of post admission fee collection.

CV Raman and Gita bhubnaeshwar both are equally good college I would suggest you to choose according to  yourself

• Both are good in campus
• Both have good faculties
• Both have above average facilities and availability of technology
• Both are among the top college in Orissa
• I would say just ask if any student of both college
• They may differentiate between hostel and mess stuff

CV RAMAN:  Companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc., visited this campus this year. Many other companies are yet to visit the campus by the end of the year. The average package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest package offered is above 6 LPA. Mostly, the highest packages are offered to CS and IT students as software companies visit and recruit a lot of students from this  college. Mechanical students also get placed.

Infrastructure :The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi and the best labs with instruments. The campus is very clean. The best hostels are provided. Teachers are very helpful.

GITA :

Placements :Nearly 85% of the students get placed every year. The college provides many opportunities for training and internships. There is a good scope for the students of the mechanical engineering and computer science engineering departments. No matter what is your branch, you'll get placement opportunities in good companies.
