The colleges host the same hiring companies because they are almost in the same geographic vicinity and have nearly identical accreditations. However, I also consider fee structures to be important factors. And the GITA pricing schedule is reasonable.

GITA is a good college in terms of academics. It is conferred with Autonomous status by UGC and BPUT for a period of ten years with effect from 2020-21 session. It is ranked 3rd among top ten Engineering Colleges in Odisha by IndiaStudyChannel , 1 among Private Engineering College in Odisha by Times of India and ranked 5 among Top Engineering College in India by Times Engineering Survey. It’s among the top 150 Engineering Institutions in India. The college has an NIRF ranking under 150.It is approved by DSIR as SIRO.

It has accreditation of NAAC with ‘A’ Grade & NBA. It’s Training and Placement cell has helped students to acquire placements in a varied number of reputed companies, sectors etc. More than 70-90% students receive placements.

The placement cell offer cells such as Industry Institute partnership Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell to organise activities such as Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Skill development programs, Faculty Development programs and so on.

Both colleges provide good infrastructure facilities such as spacious and digital classrooms, well-equipped labs, internet and sports facilities, hygienic food, library, etc. The faculty members of both colleges are highly knowledgeable and skilled. They are very supportive in nature. The placement record of GIET (80-85%) is slightly better than that of GITA (75-80%). Recruiting companies for GIET are Amazon, Byju's, Cognizant, Microsoft, My Home Constructions, Jindal, TCS, etc. with average salary package of 3-4 LPA.

Silicon Institute of Technology is the best for CSE branch from the above mentioned colleges. The college is in the core part of the capital city, Bhubaneswar. The academics is excellent along with the faculty members who are very helpful. You will grow as a student in academics  as well as in co-curricular activities. The placement for CSE branch is also very good.

The other college are also good but have the demerit too. So, choose wisely.
