1-BITS PILANI-Many compare it equivalent to OLD IITs and better than NEW IITs. The placements are good. Fees is a bit high. NO ATTENDANCE. Updated course structure. Overall personality development. Very good infrastructure. Well qualified faculty. You get the freedom to choose your own teachers.

2-IIIT HYDERABAD-It is heaven for programming and technical geeks. The college has earned fame in the area of coding by participating highly in ICPC. It is the best college one can get through JEE-MAINS. Fees is high.Faculty is highly qualified with a lot of research work going on. The coding culture of the campus is very competitive.

3- IIIT BANGALORE-It is another IIIT which has good faculty and infrastructure. The location of college is a plus point forplacements. It offers 5 year integrated degree program after 10+2.

4-DAIICT GANDHINAGAR- It is another good college for CS/IT students with very limited seats.Admission is based on JEE MAIN ranks. NO QUOTA. The cutoffs usually goes around 14k.Good infrastructure and highly competitive crowd.

5- LNMIIT JAIPUR-It is another good private college in the list. Admission is based on JEE mains marks. The faculties are good and placements are good particularly in ECE/CS branches.

6-Thapar University Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology TIET Patiala-It is another good college with high fee structure and many international collaborations. Admission is through Jee Mains Marks.

7-Manipal Institute of Technology Manipal-This is another college with a lot of students, average placements,good fests and faculty. The recent induction of SATYA NADELLA as the CEO of Microsoft , rose the college in terms in reputation.

8-PSG College of Technology Coimbatore -The admission to this college is through a Single Window Counselling by Anna University, Chennai.PSG has an independent placement office facilitating campus recruitment for MNCs & National Companies. The crowd is average and so is the faculty.Some are good some are not.Placements are high in CS/ECE branches.Proximity to Delhi is a major factor in the progress of this college.
