Hello,

Parthenocarpy is a method by which seedless fruits are grown. This is done by administration of some plant hormone externally to induce fruit formation without fertilisation. Plant hormones such as gibberelline, auxin and cytokinine, when sprayed on flowers can induce Parthenocarpy in them.

Hello!

Auxin.

Hormones, auxins , gibberellins , and cytokinins , especially the first two, are well known to induce parthenocarpy. Thus, auxin treatment of young, unpollinated ovaries in certain cultivars of strawberry, tomato, grape, and orange is known to cause production of parthenocarpic fruit.

Hope this helps!
