There is no comparison for salary perspective. If you are a reputed doctor then definitely you will have more patience which will give you more salary, but you should have that reputation. And let me remind you that completing MBBS is not for you to earn that reputation, you should go for specialization.

When it comes to BTech they are completely based on you talent. If you are passionate towards work then you will definitely have a fruitful life.

Whatever you choose, do that after having a clear analysis.

If you are a studious, hard working person then go with medicine, If not then go with BTech.

Doctors with superspecialisation degree may earn more than an engineer but till the time the doctor finishes DM/MCh ,engineer might have saved ahuge amount of money.

Now a days ,there is a rural service bond in almost all the states after MBBS ,PG and superspeciality each. In these bonds ,salaries are very low. So ,there is very less chance of earning more than any engineer who has done B.Tech from even average college ,leave aside IITs.But it's also truee that all the students never gets placed into some good companies so everyone cannot earn a huge amount .

However ,1 thing in favour of doctors is they are never unemployed. So i will suggest you to choose your profession according to your interest in particular field .
