According to careers360 the rating of VGU college is 3.4 out of 5.The university is recognised by the UGC. As per the VGU placement statistics, Rs. 9 LPA is the highest package offered to the students in the year 2021. The university placement office also provides career counselling and internship assistance to the students.  The teaching and infrastructure is also good

The DIMS have an affiliation to HNB Medical Education University (Uttarakhand State Govt. University, approved by UGC, MHRD Govt. of India), Uttarakhand Ayurveda University, Shri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUU) (Uttarakhand State Govt. University, MHRD Govt. of India, ICAR recognized) and approved by INC, State Nursing & Midwifery Council, Uttarakhand Paramedical Council, Uttarakhand Medical Education Council, Uttarakhand Ayurveda Council &CCIM. DIMS is a self-aided Institution under the ages of Shrimati Poorna Devi Memorial Trust, Dehradun.

The students at DIMS Dehradun have been successfully placed in various organizations. The previous batch saw an excellent placement record. The highest placement package record was 3.5 lakhs per annum. Top recruiters included Max Hospital, Doon Hospital, Patanjali, DIMS Hospital, etc.

Both the colleges are best but  only difference is fee.

In VGU the first year fee for BPT is 90,000 and In DIMS the first year fee is 1,10,000
