Hi,

According to some news papers there will be a new body (NTS-National Testing Service) which in the process of formation for now which will be handed over the entire responsibility of conducting all common entrance exams like JEE, NEET, NET, CTET etc.

This is being done to release CBSE of the excess resposibility of conducting so many tests and focus on increasing the standard and quality of education. Once our Cabinet approves it’s inception, it will be forming NEETI (National Entrance Examination for Technical Institution) and start the process for engineering courses from January 2018.

This process is still pending and requires approval, but according to the ongoing activities seems like CBSE will shift over the responsibility to NTS from next year.

NTS will then become the largest test conducting body all over India.

Since NTA has been formed on such a short notice, it will take sometime for the committee come into full force and shoulder a huge responsibility of conducting a nation-wide entrance examination.
As far as the speculations are to be believed, CBSE might be conducting NEET-UG entrance examination for the year 2018. Although an official announcement regarding the same hasn't been made yet, but there are every chances that NTA will come into force from 2019 onwards.

Till now there isn't any official announcement so most probably it will be CBSE that will conduct the NEET 2018. In coming years this might change.

Hi Shubh.

In order to give an opportunity to the students to bring out their best performance, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) might be conducted twice a year. With the Union cabinet approving the creation of a National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct all entrance tests, it is likely that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) might be conducted twice a year. Theidea behind conducting exam twice a year is to give an opportunity to the students to bring out their best performance. but do mind it, it would take time to implement this. So if you are looking forward for test in 2018 I would suggest you to focus on that and don’t bother about these. Good luck buddy

Till now there's no official announcement for NTA conducting the NEET 2018 so it probably will be conducted by Cbse only

Still you should wait for the official confirmation which will be announced by the end of January
