Hello dear student,
To persue heigher studies from Germany you need to have a good GRE score . For engineering as you asked for so you need to have a minimum of 310 around marks to get admission easily on the basis of the GRE score . The minimum acceptable TOEFL score varies from 71 to 81, IELTS 6.0 and above. A good GRE/GMAT score always maximizes chances of getting through any university. While you must be aware of Germany is not a English speaking country so it's advisable to do some language course or something like that in German before leaving for Germany.
