When two candidates get the same percentile, that is, in case of a tie, the following points are taken into consideration while giving the first preference:

1. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology will get the preference
2. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry will get the preference
3. Candidates with less number of attempted wrong answers in all the subjects will get the preference
4. Candidates older in age to be preferred
