Private Medical Colleges is not taking part in All India Counseling and its seat is filled through State counseling. For appearing to State counseling you need to hold the domicile of that particular state and the Other option is to apply through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, all the 15% seats are central and deemed universities, IP quota seats in ESIC colleges, and AFMC seats are filled by DGHS. The 85% state quota and private colleges are filled by respective State Authorities. There are 3 Categories in Private Medical College. 

• Category A is the Govt. quota seats.
• Category B is also known as Management Quota, to be filled by Direct Admission by contacting the college Directly.
• NRI Category.

Other State students cannot apply for Private Medical College under State Counselling.
