Why is the pharmacy course under rated in India?

The scope of pharmacy in India is very less. Pharmacy in India is highly under- rated. The scope in abroad countries is good. One of the reason is the Indian mentality which has more focus on engineering or medicine and had never valued pharmacy. Second, Pharmacy has never been valued as a profession in India yet. A high ignorance to this domain is a big reason for not being valued in India.
