No the class 12th marks are not considered in preparing of Joint Entrance Examination main merit list. JEE Main 2020 rank list will be prepared by taking into consideration the better of two scores of all the candidates appeared in January and April session. But to get admissions in NITs/IITs you need to score a minimum aggregate in 12th and even to be eligible to write JEE main exam. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination. For SC/ ST, the eligibility is to obtain a minimum of 65% marks in class 12 or equivalent.
