I don't think it'll come into use for admissions. There's a quota for co curricular activities known as ECA. But mostly they take singers, dancer and etc who have represented some professional stage.

Still you can check during the admission process, they give all the information while form filling only. If there's a column for NCC then you can put your A certificate there.
