Every engineering program has its own eligibility criteria, if you are qualifed as per eligibility criteria mentioned, Only then you can apply in that particular engineering program. If you compare fees with other universities in engineering, it is also reasonable. 

You can also avail scholarship If you have more than 80% in 10+2. If you want to avail 100% scholarship, then CU also offers you through CUSAT exam.  It is the only university where almost all core companies of every stream visits regularly for campus recruitment.

For all UG courses such as BE, B.Arch, LB.Pharm, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.P.Ed, BOT, BPT, BJMC, LL.B and B.Com, the university conducts
Chandigarh University Scholarship Admission Test (CU SAT).
JEE Main qualified candidates can also apply for BE.
NATA can also apply for B.Arch course.
Candidates with a valid score in JEE Main (Paper II) or
Chandigarh University conducts
CU-PG-Entrance Test
to offer admission in ME, M.Sc, LL.M, MCA, M.Com and MA courses.
GATE qualified candidates are equally eligible to secure admission in ME.
Merit in
CAT/MAT/CMAT or C SAT
conducted by Chandigarh University is the minimum admission criteria for MBA program.
Chandigarh University also offers Diploma PG Diploma course in Yoga Education.
For Ph.D. courses,
