Will coding be tough for me when i start college, if all i know is the java basics i learnt in 10th icse? I took pcmb in 12th

No I don't think coding will be difficult for you if you have clear concepts in any of the programming languages beforehand. What matters most is your logical thinking and understanding.
Also, it doesn't matter if you know programming beforehand or not as they start teaching you from scratch during your graduation. However the one who already has knowledge about it will have an edge over you since they'll have previous practice and knowledge acquired. You can catch us easily if you're dedicated to it and also have a genuine passion. Do not go for it just to follow the crowd if you don't have much of interest in programming.

No, it would not be a difficult task for you. Even you will find it more easier than those who don't any coding background. You will be able to understand the things faster than other students.
