Delhi University had initially declared that there would not be more than 5 cutoff lists from this year and this is the first time that such a rule has been suggested. However, even after the admissions of the five lists, it is reported that quite a few more seats are vacant for many courses in different colleges. There is no clarity as to how those seats would be filled. There are some speculations over releasing of more cutoff lists but the DU authorities are yet to give the final decission.
